Saddle Washers

The Saddle Washers produced by Aztec are made from aluminium sheeting with a minimum thickness of 1.0 mm.

Polymer 36 is Aztec’s facing material, a nitrogen-expanded low durometer EPDM elastomer that is then bonded to aluminium as the backing material. The unsuitable memory and wear characteristics of sponge and foam have been eliminated through this usage. Polymer 36 has been developed to withstand the high temperatures that are required to fully cure powder paint, whilst still maintaining a full and complete bond between the polymer and its aluminium substrate.
